What is not used
- No advertising or marketing cookies.
- No analytics or behavioural tracking of any kind.
- No third-party embeds, pixels, social buttons or remote fonts.
- No server-side session identifiers.
Why this is enough
The only stored value is a functional preference that exists purely to respect your dismissal of a notice. Because it does not identify you and is not used to track you across sites, it falls squarely into the “strictly necessary / functional” category, which is why the notice can simply be dismissed.
Controlling storage
You can clear this value at any time from your browser’s site-data settings. Clearing it means the cookie notice will appear again on your next visit. Blocking storage entirely does not break any part of this site.
The desktop application
SD Code stores its settings, session and drafts in your Windows user profile rather than in a browser. That data is described in the privacy policy and can be removed from Settings → About → Data folder.
