Summary
- The SD Code desktop application collects no telemetry, analytics or crash reports.
- This website sets no tracking cookies and loads no third-party scripts, fonts or images.
- Your source code, file paths, settings and drafts never leave your computer unless you explicitly push them somewhere.
- Email sent to [email protected] is used only to answer your message.
The desktop application
SD Code runs entirely on your machine. It reads and writes files that you choose to open, stores settings and drafts in your Windows user profile, and executes only the commands and Git operations you invoke. It does not contact any server except when you run a command that does so — for example git pull, npm install or opening a link in your browser.
Data stored locally on your computer:
- Preferences, recent projects and session state, stored in the application profile.
- Unsaved buffer drafts, stored in the application profile and deleted once you save or close the file.
- Installed local extensions and their enable/disable state.
- An optional crash log, written only if the main process throws an unexpected error.
You can delete all of this by removing the application data folder shown in Settings → About → Data folder, or by uninstalling SD Code.
This website
sd.sasadev.site is a static site. It does not use server-side sessions, advertising networks, social plug-ins or analytics services. Fonts and icons are served from the same origin as the page. The only script that runs is the site’s own React bundle, together with a single local storage entry that remembers whether you dismissed the cookie notice.
The hosting provider may keep standard web server logs (IP address, user agent, requested path and timestamp) for security and abuse prevention. Those logs are not used to build profiles and are not shared for marketing.
Downloads
Downloading an executable file is handled by the web server that hosts this site. No personal details are requested, and no email address is required to download or to use SD Code.
If you contact [email protected], your email address and the contents of the message are used solely to respond to your enquiry. Messages are kept only as long as needed for that purpose and are never sold or added to a mailing list.
Children
SD Code is a developer tool. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
Your rights
Because the application collects nothing and the website collects nothing beyond optional server logs, there is normally no personal data to access, correct or delete. If you have emailed us, you may request deletion of that correspondence at any time by writing to the same address.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will appear on this page with a new date. Material changes will also be noted in the changelog.
